The Management Blog is now officially open for business. This isn’t the kind of blog where we tell you what we ate for lunch or what color shirt we’re wearing today. If we did that here, what would we use this twitter page for? We’ll definitely keep it entertaining. Here’s a summation of the categories:
Video Blog - Updates straight from the webcam, up close and personal. Music Updates - The progression of The Management in the music industry.
Miscellaneous - Sports, Politics, Movies, Twitter, Facebook, Pasta, etc. Management Material - These girls have really nice resumes. Contests - Check here often for the latest contests and prize giveaways. Barcode Branded - Catalog of Conformists, Sell-Outs, and Frauds. Who Owns You? - Sometimes Satirical, Sometimes Serious. Who Owns You?
Have a webcam or microphone? On this blog you can let your voice be heard, literally. Leave us a video, audio, or text comment to any of the blog posts, or you can head over to The Boardroom and join our discussion forum. Stay tuned.
The Management Presents… Radius: Process of Elimination received an 86/100 review rating on OkayPlayer.com. The lead track “28 Bars Later” was described as “the perfect introduction” and “one of the strongest tracks on the mixtape.” Read the full review on Okayplayer.com by Alison Isaac.
Did you hear about this Jamie Foxx - Miley Cyrus feud? Well, I’m not going to talk about that. Dan Rico (VP of The Management) is an Imaging Producer for Jamie Foxx’s show “The Foxxhole” which airs on Sirius 106/XM 149. He sometimes mentions the show on his twitter page. Then the Miley Cyrus situation made its way to the news outlets. In defense of Jamie Foxx (who would later apologize, explaining the segment on the show), Dan Rico made the following comment:
“I love how these reporters call the Jamie Foxx thing “a vicious attack on Miley Cyrus”..I guarantee they never heard a second of the show before”
“…sorry twitter - hanging out with nappy headed hoes” - Asher Roth
Asher Roth decided to invoke the spirit of Don Imus (because it worked out so well for Imus). Everyone knows Asher Roth isn’t racist, right? The feigned outrage is- feigned and outrageous. When celebrities make ill-advised comments it’s almost an immediate reflex to cynically and comically blow it out of proportion.
